West LA Litigation Assistant - Boutique Plaintiff Firm

Growing Family Law firm is seeking a Litigation Assistant to join their West LA office. The Litigation Assistant must have 2-3 years of legal assistant experience with exposure to litigation. Experience in medical malpractice or personal injury is helpful but not required. Candidates should have knowledge of the litigation process from intake through trial, California e-filing experience, and familiarity with serving legal documents, calendaring deadlines, and maintaining case files.

Litigation Assistant Responsibilities

• Prepare, file, serve, and track litigation documents in California state courts
• Maintain case files, CAP & PROOF records, and monitor litigation deadlines
• Assist attorneys with discovery, depositions, IMEs, mediations, and trial preparation
• Coordinate service of process, e-service, and court filings
• Support a team of attorneys and legal staff in a fast-paced office environment
